Please help me not to be afraid. God.
When I go to bed at night, it's so dark.
Everything looks different from the way it did during the day.
My window looks scarywith the street light shining through.
Dark shdows are all over my room and everything is so quiet.
It's like I'm the only one here.
I know you're always with me,
God, so I don't have anything to be afraid of.
But when it's dark and quiet,
I get scared anyway.
Please help me remember that you're always right here,
God, even on the darkest nights.
